Danny Heathcote
Founder & Director
Danny is the founder and director of Kiwi Landscapes Ltd. He started the business back in 1999 and spent many years on the tools creating lovely gardens for 100’s of happy customers. Originally from New Zealand Danny has made England his home and is now more office based than out in the garden. He works extremely hard to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
At Kiwi we want all of our clients to be happy and we work very hard to try and achieve this.
Adam Czyzewski
Designer & Horticulturist
Adam has been working with Kiwi Landscapes for almost 15 years now. He believes that hard landscaping is just a frame for the garden which needs ‘soul’. He is passionate about planning and planting gardens that are as individual as our clients. He confidently ensures the smooth running of the Soft Landscaping side of the company as well as creating complex designs.
Adam is in his element in the great outdoors and is always looking for inspiration for his projects.
Sam Dewar
Project Manager
Sam has been part of Kiwi Landscapes for two years and recently transitioned from leading teams on site to taking on a key role in the office.
Originally from New Zealand, he began his career by completing a Landscaping apprenticeship and then moving into a role as Apprenticeship assessor. He brings a wealth of practical expertise, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for bringing ideas to life. Sam blends hands-on experience with a collaborative mindset and is excited to apply his background to project management. Sam enjoys working closely with colleagues to ensure every project runs seamlessly and delivers outstanding results.
Slawomir “Swayze”
Team Leader
Swayze has been a valued member of the Kiwi Landscapes team for over a decade and he is our go-to expert when it comes to crafting solid brickwork and unique bespoke structures. Originally from Poland he is a skilled hard landscaper and brings dedication, precision, creativity and a strong work ethic to every project. Swayze’s keen eye for detail and calm, steady leadership help guide the team in consistently delivering high-quality results.
When he’s not onsite you’ll find Swayze tending to his collection of bonsai trees, many of which he’s rescued and nurtured back to life. His patience and care for detail clearly extend far beyond his day job.
Felix
Team Leader
Originally from New Zealand, Felix has been with Kiwi Landscapes for over 2 years but has over six year’s experience in the landscaping industry. He holds a triple CSCS Card, which enabled him to successfully lead a recent commercial project for Kier Construction achieving excellent results.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, Felix demonstrates expert-level skills across all areas of landscaping. His specialism is landscape construction. However, he is also equally skilled in soft landscaping.
When he’s away from work he can usually be found on the football pitch and when he’s not, he will be busy planning his next travel adventure.
Thomas
Team Leader
Tom joined the Kiwi team as a soft landscaper and worked his way up to now lead one of our main hard landscaping teams. He has proved himself through his hardwork and commitment to learn and expresses his creativity by bringing individual and quirky designs to life.
He’s also the creative mind behind much of our social media content, giving followers a behind the scenes look at life on site and the projects we are proud of.
When he’s not building or using his creative flair, Tom enjoys being on the slopes. He is a keen skier and instructor, always chasing the next run.
Nick
Team Leader
Nick started his career in civil construction, surveying and fencing. He brings a wealth of hands-on know how to every project. He is always up for a challenge and is a true asset to the Kiwi Landscapes team.
Originally from New Zealand, Nick has been in the UK for eight years and a part of the team for most of this time.
Outside of work, he’s usually building custom furniture, working on his campervan, or hitting the skate bowl on his skateboard.
Michal “Bro”
Team Leader
Having been with the business for over a decade Michal made the transition from soft landscaping to the hard landscaping side of the business. He has a calm, polite manner and a disciplined approach which stems from his time in the military. These qualities shine through in the precision and care he brings to every garden he builds. Bro is a dedicated member of the team.
The creativity he shows extends far beyond the day job and he loves to express his artistic side through his own artwork and designs. He also enjoys a gig or two and can often be found enjoying a rock concert.
Rob
Team Leader
As one of the most experienced members of our team. Rob is a fantastic all-rounder. Come rain or shine, he’s in the garden! One thing Rob loves is a challenge, his calm, reassuring style enable him to tackle challenges with skill and creativity. With a degree in computer engineering this provides the basis for his problem-solving approach to every project. Rob enjoys working closely with clients to help bring their vision to life.
A good movie, travelling to visit friends & family in Poland or tending his own garden are how Rob likes to spend his free time.
Daniel
Team Leader
Before joining Kiwi Landscapes over a decade ago Daniel honed his skills working for a local garden designer and then a reputable landscaping competitor. He has a wealth of experience which shines through in every garden he creates. Daniel is an exceptional landscaper and takes pride in delivering top quality, beautifully finished outdoor spaces that truly stand out.
Whenever the opportunity arises Daniel loves nothing more than making a trip back to his home country to cheer on his favourite football team, Legia Warsaw. He is also a trained boxer. His dedication in the ring and on the pitch mirrors the focus and care he brings to every project.
Rupert
Head Gardener
Rupert has been an integral part of our team for the past five years, leading our maintenance division with skill, passion, and dedication. A Garden Design college graduate with over 30 years of experience in both hard and soft landscaping. Rupert brings exceptional plant knowledge and a natural creative flair—especially when it comes to expert pruning and finishing touches.
Outside of work, Rupert is a true vintage enthusiast. He has a passion for classic cars and music and is the frontman of The Long Gone Daddios (check them out on YouTube ). When he’s not on stage or in the garden, you’ll likely spot him on his vintage steel bike, heading out on one of his long-distance tours.
